Click the 'Accounts' button and click on '+' button at the bottom.
- Select 'POP3' or 'IMAP' from the 'Account Type' drop down.
- Enter 'Account Description' as you want it to appear.
- Enter your 'Full Name' as you want it to appear.
- Enter your full email address username@my-domain-temple.net. (Replace my-domain-temple.net with your domain.) in the 'Email address:' field.
- Click on 'Continue'
- Enter 'mail.my-domain-temple.net' (Replace my-domain-temple.net with your domain.) in the 'Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server:' field.
- Enter your full email address username@my-domain-temple.net. (Replace my-domain-temple.net with your domain.) in the 'Username' field.
- Enter your email password in the 'Password:' field
- Click on 'Continue'
- For 'Authentication' drop down choose 'Password'
- Click on 'Continue'
- Select 'mail.my-domain-temple.net' (Replace my-domain-temple.net with your domain.) in the 'Outgoing mail server:' field.
- Make sure to check mark the 'Use Authentication' check box.
- Enter your full email address username@my-domain-temple.net. (Replace my-domain-temple.net with your domain.) in the 'Username' field.
- Enter your email password in the 'Password:' field
- Click on the 'Continue' button.
- Close the Accounts window, and click the Save button.
- Congratulations,you have finished setting up your email account!
NOTE: If you are still having issues sending email you can try the following:
From the 'Mail' menu, choose 'Preferences'.
- Click the 'Accounts' button and high-light your account.
- Click the 'Server Settings' Button.
- In the 'Server Port' field change the port number from '25' to '587'
- Click 'OK'.
